Application Process 
Applications for enrollment will be accepted at all times. Currently enrolled children are given priority upon receipt of Renewal Contracts and annual registration fees. New student applications will be processed to fill all remaining class positions. When positions are not available, Augsburg Park Montessori School will maintain a pool of applicants on a wait list. To be considered for enrollment a child must be 33 months of age and toilet learning.

 

No child shall be denied admission to Augsburg Park Montessori School on the basis of race, ethnic background, religion, social class or family structure.

Observation

The best way to know and understand the Montessori classroom is to observe. Parent observations are offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m., mid-October through the end of March. Observations are adult only and must be scheduled in advance. It is strongly recommended that interested parents schedule an observation.

 

Informational Interview

After observing, an informational interview may be scheduled. This is a time for us to get to know you and your child better, gather additional information, and verify that our environment will meet your child's needs. During this meeting we will discuss Montessori philosophy and program specifics of Augsburg Park Montessori School .

Enrollment

If a position is offered to your child, a non-refundable enrollment fee and tuition deposit will be due within two weeks of notification. Upon receipt of a tuition deposit, we will reserve a position for your child in our program. Tuition deposits will be applied to last month’s tuition the following year.
